Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira faces three months on the sidelines after undergoing knee surgery.

Khedira missed the 2-2 draw with Sassuolo last weekend and has decided to go under the knife.

Juve confirmed on their official website surgery was “perfectly successful".

However, they added in their statement he had an expected recovery time of “around three months".
