Jesus Navas reached 500 games with Sevilla for last night's draw against Athletic Bilbao.

The Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan gave him a standing ovation to celebrate a club legend, who has won six trophies for the team.

Athletic hero Jose Angel Iribar was also present to present him with an Athletic shirt with the 500 number to recognise the occasion.

Navas, 34, has achieved the feat for his boyhood club, despite spending four years at Manchester City between 2013 and 2017.

In total, they are 362 LaLiga Santander appearances, 55 matches in the Copa del Rey, 46 in the Europa League, 30 in the Champions League, five in the Supercopa de Espana and two in the European Super Cup.

With a contract until June 30, 2021, and in season number 13 at the club, with 10 in his first stint and then three since returning, Navas is set to continue adding to that tally.
