Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini is against foreign-born players playing for Italy.

Sampdoria striker Eder (Brazil) and Palermo's Franco Vazquez (Argentina) are both in the latest Azzurri squad.

"The Italian national team must be Italian," Mancini said.

"Those who aren't born in Italy but have distant relatives shouldn't be called-up, that's my opinion."
