Local Vallecas resident Carmen has thanked Rayo Vallecano for coming to her rescue after she was evicted by riot police on Friday.
At the age of 85, Carmen was evicted because she acted as a guarantor for a loan for her only son which he had requested five years ago, but Rayo came to the rescue.
"I would like to thank you. God bless you. It's a very nice gesture that they didn't have to do.
"Long live Rayo!" she told MARCA.
