Tottenham caretaker Mason coy on Lloris exit talk

Tottenham caretaker Ryan Mason would not be drawn on the future of captain Hugo Lloris.

The French World Cup winner has been at Spurs for a decade, but may be ready to call time on his Premier League career.

Media reports have linked him with a big money move to Saudi Arabia, where he would triple his current wages.

Asked about the matter, Mason told reporters during a press conference: “First of all we are talking about hypothetical situation in terms of an individual.

“At same time we recognise the next three games are important for us and then I'm sure those conversations will happen.

“We know we have a big squad, with players coming back from loan. Maybe the club want to do some business, I'm not sure.

“It's not necessarily always the right and best option. That's two or three weeks' time. We can't look to far ahead. We need to focus on now because these three games are important to finish the season well."
