Nantes coach Vahid Halilhodzic has launched a furious attack on Chelsea defender Matt Miazga.

The USA international is now in London trying to break his loan.

After defeat to Angers, Halilhodzic stated: "I do not know what's going on behind my back, some even blackmailed me ... A lot of wrong things happen and I'm deeply sad."

The coach later expanded on his claims.

"What I said about blackmail was Matt Miazga," explained Halilhodzic. "He assured me that he was bothered by his back, but after we examined him, there appeared to be no problem, he just wanted to leave the club, this morning (Monday), Miazga was in England at Chelsea, without anyone warning me here, things irritate me, but it has to be done, even if it really disappoints me."
