Liverpool have rejected a bid from Lyon to sign Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Switzerland winger wants out of the Anfield club for regular football this summer.

The Reds are also amenable to a sale, but Goal.com indicates the most recent offer from Lyon is below the club's valuation of Shaqiri.

Both clubs are negotiating and there is hope for a resolution.

Meanwhile, Lazio in Italy and other clubs in both Italy and Spain are also showing an interest in Shaqiri.

The winger, who only managed ten starts in the past two years, publicly expressed his desire to move on this summer.
