Ipswich Town have snapped up Stoke City defender Danny Higginbotham.

Higginbotham has joined npower Championship side Ipswich Town on an emergency one-month loan deal.

The 33-year-old defender agreed the move in time to be included in Paul Jewell's matchday squad for Saturday's clash against Charlton Athletic at Portman Road.
