Preston North End have signed Everton striker Tom Cannon until the end of this season.

The 20-year-old has completed a loan move seeking regular first team football.

Cannon made his debut for the Everton first team in November.

He has also scored five goals in five matches for the club's Under-21 team in the EFL Trophy.

"There were a lot of clubs who were interested in signing him, so I'm really pleased we've got it over the line," Preston boss Ryan Lowe told the club website.
