Rodgers due lucrative compensation package if sacked by Leicester

Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is due an eight-figure compensation if he is sacked.

The Foxes head coach is hanging by a thread, with his team bottom of the Premier League at present.

Leicester have endured a miserable start to the season, collecting a single point from the first six matches.

Rodgers signed a new deal in December 2019 with a huge salary, which runs until the summer of 2025.

The Daily Mail suggests if Leicester do fire Rodgers, they would have to pay off the remaining years of his contract.

There is no termination clause within the deal, unless Rodgers chooses to resign of his own volition.
