PSG have moved to beat Chelsea to the signing of Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes.
Sky Italia's Gianluca di Marzio reports the 24-year-old Argentina midfielder is wanted by Blues boss Maurizio Sarri, but PSG have made the first move by offering Zenit £31million.
PSG's opening offer is said to be around £9m short of Zenit's valuation.
Paredes generally operates as a defensive midfielder but has still chipped in with three goals and two assists in 15 Russian Premier League games this season.
