Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez paid a touching tribute to former teammate Diogo Jota after scoring in their 3-1 friendly win over Preston North End.
The game against Preston marked Liverpool’s first since the untimely passing of forward Diogo Jota earlier in the month.

Jota, 28, died alongside his brother, Andre Silva, 25, in a tragic car accident in Northern Spain on July 3rd as they were driving to catch the ferry back to Liverpool.
Nunez scored Liverpool’s second goal of the game with a composed finish, before mimicking his former teammate’s famous ‘Playstation’ celebration.
Liverpool paid their own tribute days before the game, retiring Jota’s number 20 shirt, the first time the club has done such a thing, at all levels.
