Napoli captain Marek Hamsik was happy to overcome Carpi on Sunday.

The result now sets up Napoli for their clash with Juventus.

“Winning eight games in a row is a nice achievement, but it would be even better if we could win in the end, because that's what really matters," Hamsik said after the game.

“Against Juventus we'll be up for a great game, an elimination match. We're coming and we'll go for a win.

“We didn't think about Juve so far, but now we have one week to study them and train well.

“They're a rival who is doing extremely well, and we know it's going be very hard.

“When teams attack us and give us space it's actually easier than against a team like Carpi, that allows no space.

“To be fair, today we made too many mistakes. In any case Juventus won't play defensively, that's sure enough.

“We'll go there and try making a result."
