Man Utd goalkeeper Sergio Romero wanted by Everton, Juventus

Everton are keen on Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero.

The Daily Mail says Romero is attracting interest from Everton and Juventus.

The Argentina international is keen to leave Old Trafford after being left on the sidelines by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season.

United are in the throes of bringing in Tom Heaton on a free transfer from Aston Villa as they prepare for Romero's departure. Though they hold an option on his contract they will let him leave on a free transfer to free up the 34-year-old's wages.

Romero had interest from Everton last season only for negotiations to founder over a fee. Valencia also discussed a move but the finances were beyond them.

Juventus see the Argentine as cover for Wojciech Szczesny while Everton want him to push England number one Jordan Pickford.
