Liverpool striker Diogo Jota admits playing alongside Fernando Torres was a career highlight.

Jota has revealed his 'special' debut that saw him partner Liverpool hero Fernando Torres for Atletico Madrid.

The Liverpool number 20 moved to Atleti in 2016 from Pacos de Ferreira and made his debut for the Spanish side when lining up next to Torres.

“For me, I have to say that makes it even more special," Jota told Off the Pitch. "I liked him a lot, then I signed for Atletico Madrid, and my first game was a friendly and I played up front with him.

“So that was nice. I still have a picture on my phone, and now having the same song it's…unpredictable."
