Al-Hilal goalkeeper Bono: I left Sevilla knowing I gave them everything

Al-Hilal goalkeeper Bono has no regrets over his departure from Sevilla.

The Morocco international left Sevilla this summer for the Saudi Pro League after a stellar four years with the club.

He told Marca: "I know that the situation was not easy due to the issue of transfers. There was a lot of instability and thus it is not easy for the players to focus on the field, but I hope that after the closing of the market, the team will put one hundred percent and with the focus on football. I'm sure this start of the championship will turn around.'

Bono explained how, with his transfer already closed, he agreed to play against Manchester City in the European Super Cup.

"It was very difficult for me because it was at the last moment. It was difficult to face the last two days and face the Super Cup final, but Sevilla know that I left calmly because I gave up everything while I played.

"Sevillismo knows that I will love it throughout my life. The love they gave me there was something incredible and I am still connected to Sevilla's news by watching the games any time I can. I will always wish them good luck and I stay a Sevilla fan."
