Liverpool have handed a week-long trial to Honduran teenager Wesly Decas, according to a report from The Sun.

The 17-year-old left-back is said to have impressed Reds scouts at the recently concluded CONCACAF Under-20 Championships.

The youngster is currently signed to Argentine club Atletico Independiente.

If Liverpool decide to make a move for the youngster, they would need to reach an agreement over compensation with the player's current club.
