Real Betis coach Pellegrini frustrated after Real Sociedad stalemate

Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini was left frustrated after their 0-0 draw with Real Sociedad.

Pellegrini concedes they could've done better in front of goal last night.

He lamented: “I leave very disappointed with the point. We had a first half with little creativity and arrival. In the second half we were absolute dominators, we created good chances, Real's first shot didn't come until the 91st minute but they took a point that was worth a lot and that didn't taste like much to us.

“I think that in the first half we had little mobility against a team like Real that pushes a lot and we have to look for it in depth. Defensively I think we did very well in both halves.

“We missed the goal. Against teams as important as Real Sociedad we cannot expect to create more than three or four chances. Some of them have to be included and unfortunately we didn't do it.

Asked about qualifying for the Champions League, Pellegrini also said: “I don't know what is complicated, we are fifth fighting for the Europa League and everything else is a dream. We will continue fighting until the end of the season, adding points is always good for the fight we are in."
