Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has rejected Erik Ten Hag's claims regarding the Magpies' time wasting.
The Manchester United coach has twice accused Newcastle of wasting time in games to try and grind out results.
However, Newcastle were the attacking force throughout the contest when the two sides played at the weekend, winning 2-0 in the Premier League at home.
Post-game, Isak said: "I don't really agree with that (Ten Hag's claim). We worked with intensity and we were the team that wanted to win.
"We were the team that wanted to bring the game forward.
“They wasted more time than us. I don't put too much focus on that. I think we put in a great performance."
