Inter Milan assistant coach Farris: We're now well-placed - but nothing yet won

Inter Milan assistant coach Massimiliano Farris says they're pleased with victory over Sassuolo.

Inter won 4-2 yesterday with the second-leg of their Champions League semifinal against AC Milan to come.

Farris said, "Sassuolo are a strong team, it happened to us again this year after the Champions League and a lot of energy spent. We started off aware of the difficulties that there would have been, we were good and also a little lucky to go up 3-0.

"After the third goal there shouldn't have been this drop but I think it was more physical than mental.

"In our meetings to look for the common thread after eleven defeats, we said to ourselves that we absolutely had to aim for placement in the Champions League and that's what happened. We're at a good point, but we haven't done anything yet.

"There's a Coppa Italia final to play and that of the Champions League would be the crowning glory."
