Hulll grant Windass summer farewell game

Hull City have granted former striker Dean Windass a farewell clash this summer.

The Hull Daily Mail says the game will see the 40-year-old pull on the black and amber shirt for the final time at the KC Stadium on Sunday, August 8.

Having written himself into Tigers folklore by scoring the goal which took the club into the Premier League, the club have granted him a farewell clash.

Recently linked with a combined coaching and playing role at Darlington in League Two, his future will be confirmed at the start of July.
