Former Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro insists they'll be too strong for Manchester City this week.

Real go to City for the second-leg of their Champions League semifinal with the aggregate score locked at 1-1.

Cannavaro said, “Yes, Real Madrid are one step away from the Champions League final again. Another year. It was a great game, both teams played well. The result is that everything will be decided at the Manchester City stadium.

"I know Real Madrid well and I am convinced that they will go to Manchester to win. Real Madrid are favourites in the second leg, even away. It is clear that this season in La Liga they are not going well.

"They bet everything on focusing on the Champions League. And let's not kid ourselves – the Champions League is always more important than the championship."
