Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce could be sacked before the club's sale goes through.
Bruce is already well aware that his days could be numbered as Newcastle United boss if the club is finally bought out by the Saudi Arabian-backed group. There's reports today that the £300m deal could be complete in hours.
The takeover of Newcastle has been a constant talking point over the last 18 months, as the heavily interested Saudi group led by Amanda Staveley backed out of the deal due to delays by the Premier League.
However, the deal now looks closer than ever, and a change in ownership is almost certain to involve a change of manager, with the Independent reporting that Bruce could be sacked even before the takeover is even completed.
Bruce faces an anxious wait as talks develop, as he already is aware of his fate.
