Borussia Dortmund made a late attempt to sign Fulham striker Timmy Abraham this week, it has been revealed.
Abraham is the younger brother of Chelsea star Tammy Abraham and was a loan target for BVB.
BVB held talks with Fulham about a loan deal for a fee of €2.2m for Abraham, reports Transfermarkt.de. But the two clubs ran out of time to close a deal for Monday night's deadline.
BVB had planned to sign the youngster for the first team.
Abraham is currently with Fulham's U23 team, having spent last season on-loan with Bristol Rovers.
