Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has revealed Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has backed his bid for Patrick Vieira.

The Spurs manager explained: "When I spoke to Thierry about bringing in Patrick, he was all for it and said, 'The man would give you so much presence'.

"Patrick has a real winning mentality and he will make the kids respond to him.

"Wilson Palacios could learn from him. They could all learn. He's a proper professional."
