Sampdoria are interested in Barcelona defender Martin Caceres.
The Uruguay international is available from Barca after an impressive loan with Juventus last season.
Calciomercato.it says Sampdoria have made Caceres' representatives aware of their interest. Any serious move will depend on Samp getting over their Champions League qualifier over the next fortnight.
