Liverpool have no plans of ending the loan of Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo - despite interest from Palmeiras.
The Brazil international suffered a thigh injury in training in October that required surgery and has been on the sidelines since.
Reports in Brazil have suggested Palmeiras are considering a move for the 26-year-old before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
However, the Liverpool Echo reports there are no plans for the player to return from Liverpool to Juventus and pursue another move elsewhere.
Arthur, who initially returned to Brazil to work on accelerating his recovery, travelled with the Liverpool squad for their warm-weather training camp in Dubai last month.
Although he did not take part in any of the regular training sessions, the Reds were happy the player was ahead of schedule having initially been expected to be out for up to four months.
