Former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge could yet resume his playing career.

After a frustrating spell in Australia with Perth Glory, Sturridge could yet return to the region this year.

Football Insider says interest is arriving from Indonesia for the now 33 year-old.

Persija Jakarta, Persebaya and Dewa United are all in contact with Sturridge about a return to Asian football.

Sturridge has 77 goals and 29 assists in 218 games in the Premier League. In addition, he has eight goals in 26 internationals for England.
