Hwang Ui-Jo regrets Forest choice: A lie to say otherwise

Nottingham Forest summer signing Hwang Ui-Jo admits he's unhappy on-loan with Greek sister club Oympiakos.

The South Korean striker moved to the City Ground from Bordeaux after hitting double digits in consecutive Ligue 1 campaigns. But he is yet to make an appearance for the Reds, having been shipped out on loan to Olympiacos immediately upon arrival.

The 30-year-old has failed to make an impact for the Greek outfit, though, and is yet to find the net. He has only started two games however, making just five appearances in the Greek Super League in all, although he has seen more game time in the Uefa Europa League.

“The summer transfer market was unfortunate, but I couldn't help it. I tried to make the best choice," he told Sport Nate.

"There is nothing I can say. Of course, I dream of the World Cup in four years. I think that if I do my best every day, there will be good results."

He added: "It would be a lie if I said there was no regret. The World Cup was a dream since I started playing soccer. Now the World Cup is over. My team I have to go and do well."
