Former Roma coach Fabio Capello supports their move for Andrea Belotti.

The off contract Torino striker is in advanced talks to sign for the Giallorossi.

Capello said: "Belotti to Roma? He is a very generous striker, sometimes even too much.

"He works hard for the team and risks getting unloaded in front of goal, but if he gets to Roma he will work hard and could help the team. The operation that is there." Capello also said: "A midfielder? If I were Mou I wouldn't worry. He took on (Nemanja) Matic, a player I'm in love with. I faced him when I was on the Russian bench and I must say he impressed me.

"He's not a playmaker, but if you place him in front of the defence he becomes an obstacle for all opponents. I don't see the need to spend money on a midfielder."
