Ex-Man Utd attacker DJ Buffonge thrilled to land NAC Breda contract

Former Manchester United midfielder DJ Buffonge has won a two-year contract with NAC Breda.

The 21 year-old attacker moves to NAC after a season in Italy with Spezia and Pergolettese, where he spent the second-half of last season on-loan.

And after successful trials, Buffonge has now put pen to paper on a NAC deal to 2022.

Buffonge declared: “I am very happy that I was able to sign a contract. When I joined the club a few weeks ago, I received a very warm welcome. The other players immediately included me in the group. They also told me what it's like to play in the stadium, with the support of the supporters.

"I'm really looking forward to playing for them and working hard to contribute to the promotion of NAC."

New NAC coach Maurice Steijn also remarked: "DJ has trained in recent times and has shown to be a very talented player. He is a very dynamic player, who has already shown a lot of good things in training.

"He will still need some time to become fully match-fit, because he hasn't played for a while. Once fit, he will certainly be of added value to NAC."
