Everton are ready to revive their interest in Arsenal utility Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

The Mirror says Mitland-Niles has put Premier League “on alert" ahead of the summer transfer window.

Currently on loan at Roma, the 24-year-old will return to England this summer, while Arsenal are “likely to allow him to leave" as he reaches the final year of his contract.

Everton saw their approaches for the England international turned down last summer, but the report suggests that the Gunners would accept similar proposals, this time around.
