Everton ponder move for Lille forward Timothy Weah

Everton are showing serious interest in signing Lille forward Timothy Weah.

The United States star, son of legendary George Weah, was impressive at the World Cup.

Weah scored in the 1-1 draw against Wales in Qatar, but has not been at his best in Ligue 1 this term, managing no goals in ten matches.

That has not deterred Toffees boss Frank Lampard from chasing him, according to L'Equipe.

The source states that the 22-year-old is in demand, with the likes of Fulham and Brighton also assessing his status.

La Liga side Sevilla are another who are in the mix, with Weah set to cost around £13.25 million.
