Everton legend Peter Reid feels Liverpool can win the Premier League this season.
The former Manchester City and Sunderland manager has described Liverpool's play as "awesome".
Reid told the Daily Star: "It's been unbelievable. Have Liverpool got a chance? Of course they have, I say that through gritted teeth!
"I was at the derby game when they turned Everton over and they were awesome.
"And recently against the Arsenal they were awesome. But, you know Chelsea, can you write them off? [They've got Jose] Mourinho.
"They're tight at the back, I'm not sure whether they'll get enough goals but they're in with a great shout.
"Man City, I'll tell you what as a Sunderland fan, they were great in the League Cup Final, I was at the game.
"They've got players who can get goals out of nothing and that is they biggest asset they've got.
"It's too close to call, if you were going to ask me who is going to win it I'd say Man City - just."
