West Ham boss Alan Curbishley admits keeping his emotions in-check is his way of coping with the day-to-day pressures of the Premiership.

"It depends how you approach it. Perhaps the way I handle it is not sexy enough," said Curbishley.

"I don't let my highs get too high and my lows get too low. But I have no get-out clauses here at West Ham. This is it for me. Let's see how far it goes."
