Schwarzer admits no Middlesbrough contract talks

The Australian shot-stopper looks more and more likely to now be in his last season at The Riverside.

Schwarzer is the longest-serving foreign player in Premier League history after moving to Boro in 1997 and has gone on to make over 350 appearances for the club.

But it appears likely the 35-year-old will be allowed to move in the summer.

He said: "Anything's possible. Nothing's been spoken about for many months now.

"Everything's open, anything's possible. Nothing's been decided yet in any way, from the club's point of view and from my point of view.

"It's obviously a very important period now, the end of the season, there's a lot of important games coming up, I'm only thinking about playing well just want to play as well as I can and the rest will sort itself out.

"In an ideal world you would like your future sorted out but it's not always an ideal world and you've got to get in with it. It doesn't help anyone by letting it affect you."
