Leyton Orient have confirmed they have entered preliminary talks with a view to moving into Stratford Olympic Stadium after the London Games.
The club have expressed a strong desire to move into the multi-million pound location although they are yet to enter any formal negotiations.
Chairman Barry Hearn told the club's official website: "We have been approached by the organisation shaping the legacy of London 2012 and the opportunity to move into the Olympic Stadium interests us.
"We believe that we are in an excellent position with regards our location and status as a professional football club, but we have not yet received the terms of any possible move.
"There is no doubt that the opportunity to move into a brand new 25,000 seater stadium could be the catalyst that turns us from what we are now into a club operating at a much higher level."
