Chelsea are spending today working on the signing of Moises Caicedo.

Brighton announced yesterday they had accepted a £111m offer from Liverpool for the Ecuador international.

However, Caicedo has rejected the move as he wishes to join Chelsea.

As such Chelsea are in talks with Brighton today about a £115m deal for Caicedo - with the aim to close the deal today.

It's suggested Chelsea have plans of presenting Caicedo on Sunday before their opening Premier League game against... Liverpool.

The Secret Scout reports: "Chelsea and Brighton tonight are working out the payment structure for Caicedo transfer…it's happening.

"Caicedo has messaged close Chelsea players 'I will see you soon'.

"They want to parade him at Stamford Bridge on Sunday versus Liverpool. Incredible saga is close to being finalised."
