Andy Carroll has secretly signed a new four-year deal with Newcastle United, it has been revealed.
The Mirror says Toon have already got him to commit his long-term future to the club, but the arrangement is not being announced because of a behind-the-scenes dispute between two agents.
Carroll recently changed his representative and there will be potential claims about slices of his pay day from the two camps - with the Premier League possibly called in to arbitrate.
Newcastle are delighted that Carroll, who was already tied up until 2013, has added another year to his extended terms - and the home-grown hero is also picking up a salary in line with top-level players at around £25,000-a-week.
