Arsenal are preparing a move for Lazio captain Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbian is determined to leave Serie A this summer after several seasons with the capital club.

According to La Gazzetta Della Sport, Arsenal are set to make an offer to tempt Lazio into selling.

Given the 28-year-old has just over a year remaining on his contract, Lazio will have to settle for a modest sum.

The £88 million fee they would have accepted a year ago will no longer apply.

Arsenal may see Milinkovic-Savic as an alternative to West Ham United's Declan Rice.
