On-loan Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao believes that instability under Louis van Gaal at Manchester United negatively impacted his time with the club last season.
Before joining Chelsea, the Colombian spent a disappointing season at United where he managed only four league goals and had little effect on the team.
Regarding his failed stint at Old Trafford, Monaco's Falcao believes his shortcomings were down to van Gaal's uncertainty towards him.
He told El Tiempo: "At Manchester, it was complicated. Everyone saw how situations of instability were generated, then somedays I played, others not, 60 minutes here, then 45, and then 20.
"This caused instability and then you don't know where you stand, or what the manager is looking for footballistically as he seems to prefer others.
"These are situations that happen in football."
