Aston Villa midfielder Youri Tielemans admits he's held talks with manager Unai Emery about his slow start.

Tielemans has struggled for minutes since his summer arrival from Leicester City.

The midfielder said, "I told Emery that I was coming to Villa to play.

'He understands me, but for now he prefers to play with the two midfielders from last season.

"He told me that soon there will be a succession of games and I will have more playing minutes."
