Torino coach Walter Mazzarri has fired a warning at Wolves ahead of their Europa League showdown.

Toro host Wolves in the first leg of their Europa League playoff on Thursday night.

“I'm convinced Toro's spirit will come out. I want a team who never give up, who always stick together," said Mazzarri.

“Regardless of how it goes, these six games will help the development of our players and squad.

“All of this will certainly be positive for the growth of our squad, including the negatives. That's already the case.

“We'd be disappointed if we went out, but we'd have to be like Atalanta: they were disappointed about going out and there was a psychological backlash, but then they finished fourth.

“It's clear that you can react to going out in so many ways. We'll certainly have the strength to react, get back on track and have a great campaign as it's in our locker. We'll also try to go all the way in the Coppa Italia."

He added: “Wolves certainly need no introduction as they stopped Manchester United, who are one of the best teams in the world.

“They picked up a similar number of points to us and finished in the same position as us.

“Moreover, like us, they've kept their backbone of last season and made some important signings, who are slowly being integrated into a very organised team."
