Shakespeare rejected chance to replace Pearson at Watford

Craig Shakespeare rejected the chance to replace Nigel Pearson as caretaker manager at Watford, it has been revealed.

Pearson was sacked on Sunday after Friday's disappointing defeat to West Ham United.
