Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone was delighted with victory over the MLS Allstars yesterday.

Simeone was happy to see Joao Felix, Felipe Dias and Marcos Llorente all shine for the 3-0 win.

"In principle this match serves us on the way to continue improving in all our matches. In the first half we played 4-3-1-2 and in the second one when the others entered, especially in the beginning it was very good and we generated danger when the team was attacking," he said.

"The team suffered in the second half, they attacked us on the sides, they had high quality players...

"I'm very happy with all the new ones, Felipe grows up, Felix the same. It is not simple, to combine all the new ones, but it serves us so that we can arm ourselves for what is going to come, which is going to be hard."
