Villarreal coach Setien praises Terrats for victory over Getafe

Villarreal coach Quique Setien was delighted with their victory over Getafe.

Enes Unal had the visitors ahead before Villarreal fought back via goals from Samuel Chukwueze and Jose Luis Morales.

Setién was satisfied with a win that he hopes will give his side peace of mind.

He said, “We needed to win to change the mood and be optimistic. It was difficult. We started with the burden of having conceded very early, but we had the game under control and it was good for us to score before the break and then in the second half."

Setién also underlined the need to find a positive stimulus to break the bad dynamic of results: “We got through the game with suffering. They compromised us, but I'm happy with the win, because it allows us to change the dynamic and see if we are now capable of getting on a new positive streak. We want to look to the future with optimism."

Setién also praised the great performance of Ramón Terrats, who was making his LaLiga debut for Villarreal: “Ramón Terrats had a great game. He has a lot of flair for football, he plays very well in that midfield position. It was a difficult game because of the background we had and he had a lot of personality. He's a very good player."
