Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti was pleased with their 2-0 win at Frosinone.
Amin Younes and Dries Mertens struck for the visitors on Sunday.
“We had a good game, it was important to win and send a positive sign to leave behind this brief negative period. Now we aim to end the season on a high," Ancelotti told DAZN.
“We mustn't lower our guard, so we'll try to pick up as many points as possible. Our objective is to reach 80 points. There were so many chances to score today and we keep creating, so just needed a little more determination in the finishing."
He added: “The great thing about Mertens is that he always gives his all, even if he plays badly. I really like his attitude, including that he gets cross when he doesn't play.
“I am glad he matched Diego Maradona's total of 81 Serie A goals, he deserves it. Mertens certainly has a place in the future of Napoli, he is an important player and his attitude spreads to his teammates."
