Red Star Belgrade ace Milan Pavkov admits early Spurs miss still haunting him

Red Star Belgrade ace Milan Pavkov admits an early miss against Tottenham is still haunting him.

Tottenham ran out 4-0 Champions League winners at the Marakana, but Pavkov had a great chance to score for Red Star on 22 minutes.

In an one-on-one with Spurs goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga, Pavkov beat the Argie but hooked his shot wide.

"I don't know what to say after everything ... (sigh) I wanted the best! I wanted to score! I'm very sorry I didn't shake the Tottenham goal. Who knows how the match would have ended had I guessed right!" declared Pavkov, who was also forced off with injury later in the game.

"I'm fine! A sore wrist. These examinations so far say that nothing has broken, fortunately. There is pain, but I'm better. Just to get a magnetic resonance scan, to see the true state of things, so that I know what to do and how to treat it - things seem fine."
