Botafogo has secured the loan signing of former Chelsea youth star Lucas Piazon from Braga.

The news comes from Ekrem Konur on Twitter, with the journalist suggesting the move is set to be made official in the coming days.

Braga are presently fourth in the Primeira Liga in Portugal, but Piazon struggled for game time.

He is now heading to Brazil, where he will play with a club in sixth place in their Serie A.

The deal is set to run until 2023, with the 28-year-old likely having played his last game for Braga.
