Cagliari sensation Godfred Donsah has welcomed interest from Manchester City. City and Tottenham are keen on the young Ghanaian, who has been likened to AC Milan and former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien.

"I'm targeted by Manchester City? Of course I'm happy, but I'm well in Cagliari, we are doing very well," he said.

"Too bad we lost against Inter Milan, now we have to win against Verona.

"Who I am inspired by? Essien is my role model."
